Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Cowboys spent the Round 3 slot on Caden Curry, a name the board had a full 40 spots lower.

Landing Fields that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through cornerback. The Cowboys indulged a want in Curry while a need in cornerback, quarterback and other spots stayed open.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
