The steal of the weekend belongs to the Packers and Fuller: D-.

The Packers lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. Hard to defend, and the D- reflects that.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up. Every board in the league had Trost lower, and that gap is the story.

The Fuller pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, wide receiver very much included.
