Draft Grade — Packers
Overall D-
ValueB- NeedB TradesF FutureB
The Packers lost the trade table, and the D- tells the story.

Some picks age like wine; Dominic Zvada at the 254th overall pick will need to, sitting 50 spots clear of his grade.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

The Hurst steal is the beam this whole class leans on. Job largely done: cornerback settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, edge rusher very much included.

Pick Analysis
Pick16 Rnd1 Jermod McCoy
They took Jermod McCoy at par in the Round 1 slot, which is nothing to complain about. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick40 Rnd2 Max Iheanachor
By-the-book stuff, Max Iheanachor at the 40th pick squarely in line with his ranking. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick88 Rnd3 Darrell Jackson Jr.
They paid sticker price for Darrell Jackson Jr. in Round 3, Pick 24, and that is fine. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick96 Rnd3 Daylen Everette
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Daylen Everette in No. 96. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick120 Rnd4 Jack Endries
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Jack Endries at slot 120 is the proof. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick124 Rnd4 Logan Jones
No drama and no debate, Logan Jones went about where he belonged in pick No. 124. The roster fit checks out.
Pick125 Rnd4 Kaytron Allen
A reach on Kaytron Allen in No. 125; the board had better options right there. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick131 Rnd4 J.C. Davis
J.C. Davis at the Round 4 slot is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the offensive lineman. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick158 Rnd5 Rayshaun Benny
A big swing on Rayshaun Benny at slot 158, well ahead of any board in the building. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick199 Rnd6 Ted Hurst
Ted Hurst in pick 199 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick236 Rnd7 Trey Zuhn III
A conviction pick on Trey Zuhn III at the 236th overall pick that the board grades a round light. It fills a real need, too.
Pick254 Rnd7 Dominic Zvada
Dominic Zvada at the 254th pick is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. A want more than a need, though you can never have too many.
Pick257 Rnd7 Luke Altmyer
Luke Altmyer in pick No. 257 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
