Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Packers spent the Round 7 slot on Karson Sharar, a name the board had a full 74 spots lower. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D is the result.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. However the rest shakes out, Hill Jr. at that price is a win they earned.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
