The phones sank the Chargers this weekend: D+.

The Chargers looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Boubacar Traore at the 87th overall pick regardless, 35 picks early.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.

On value alone, Slaughter makes the weekend a net positive. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
