The Rams cashed the board's mistake on Allen: B-.

The rest of the league will want that one back. CJ Allen tumbling to the Rams in the Round 2 slot is a gift they did not have to think twice about.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up. Clark has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.
