They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Preston Hodge, 166 picks early at slot 103.

They banked enough surplus on Keenan III to cover a lot of smaller sins. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback.

The Allen pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback, edge rusher and other spots still on the board. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

So much rides on Arvell Reese that the real verdict is a season or two away.
