The Commanders spent real capital to be 56 picks early on Jalen Thompson, and the board is going to hold them to it. A D that will need time and luck to look better.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. However the rest shakes out, Wheatley at that price is a win they earned.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
