If confidence were a draft strategy, the Vikings would have aced it. Deven Eastern at Round 7, Pick 18 is 47 spots clear of where he belonged.

Scott at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
