You can draft well and still miss the point. The Bills did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to linebacker, which was the need that mattered most. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

Landing Williams that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They will need Mateer to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The skill positions did well by the weekend.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but linebacker.
