Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Eagles.

The Lander Barton pick is the one that will follow the Eagles into the fall. They took him 48 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

However the rest shakes out, Branch at that price is a win they earned. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.

In slot 23 they get a premier pass rusher, though the board says they badly overpaid. It fills the loudest need on the roster.

A slide stopped in pick No. 68, with A.J. Haulcy worth more than the price. The roster fit checks out.

A wide receiver of that caliber at the 98th pick is the definition of value, full stop. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
