The Bengals finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a D-.

Somebody took the Bengals to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it. The process wobbled, and the D- is where it lands.

The whole projection now runs through Arch Manning; hit there and everything else looks smarter. For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain.

They will need Manning to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The Bengals paired the rookies with proven help, Marvin Harrison Jr. leading the way.

Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.
