After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Jets committed. Fernando Mendoza is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

The Aguilar value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
