The rest of the league had time to spare on Austin Barber; the Jaguars did not wait, grabbing him 40 spots ahead at the Round 2 slot. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

The Wheatley value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

On the needs board they went 6 of 9, with wide receiver the one that mattered most. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
