Boards are made to be trusted, and the Steelers shredded theirs for Cade Klubnik. He came off 65 spots early, and the room will hear about it. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

Scott falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. Spending an early pick on offensive lineman with edge rusher open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
