Somebody in the Round 6 slot was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Saints sat still while Iapani Laloulu, the No. 159 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
