The Giants answered their biggest question with Mendoza. Grade: B-.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Giants spent their marquee pick on Fernando Mendoza, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. They banked enough surplus on Onyedim to cover a lot of smaller sins. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
