The Jets let Klein fall into their laps, and walked away with a A-.

The Jets ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. The board rewarded a patient, disciplined weekend with a A-.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Klein at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

The veteran additions, Kenneth Murray Jr. chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not. Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

Add it up and this is about as clean as a draft weekend gets.
