Draft Grade — Bills
Overall B+
ValueB- NeedB+ TradesA+ FutureB-
The Bills cashed the board's mistake on Bowry: B+.

The trade table was a mismatch, and the Bills were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.

Getting Bowry where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The Bills clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before. Job largely done: linebacker settled and 6 of 9 of the wish list covered.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.

Pick Analysis
Pick26 Rnd1 KC Concepcion
In the Round 1 slot they get a weapon on the perimeter at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick60 Rnd2 Josiah Trotter
Josiah Trotter at slot 60 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick126 Rnd4 Bud Clark
By-the-book stuff, Bud Clark at pick No. 126 squarely in line with his ranking. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick168 Rnd5 Jude Bowry
Jude Bowry in pick 168 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick173 Rnd5 Kaleb Proctor
A tidy little value on Kaleb Proctor in No. 173, a step better than break-even. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick220 Rnd7 Zxavian Harris
They paid sticker price for Zxavian Harris in the 220th overall pick, and that is fine. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick228 Rnd7 Kaden Wetjen
A reasonable price with a little left over, Kaden Wetjen in the Round 7 slot. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick249 Rnd7 Josh Cuevas
They did well to land Josh Cuevas in slot 249, just ahead of his grade. It fills a real need, too.
Pick252 Rnd7 Andre Fuller
They barely believed it either: Andre Fuller still on the board at Round 7, Pick 36. A minor itch, scratched.
