Draft Grade — Eagles

The Eagles bled value on every deal, hence the D. The phones were a trap the Eagles kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. The process wobbled, and the D is where it lands.
The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Landing Scott that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
Pick Analysis
Pick98
Rnd3
Justin Scott
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Justin Scott at the 98th overall pick is the proof. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick151
Rnd5
Jyaire Hill
Nice patience on Jyaire Hill, who had no business lasting to No. 151. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick201
Rnd6
Kevin Jennings
Kevin Jennings in the Round 6 slot is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
