The Chargers lost the trade table, and the D- tells the story.

There is conviction, and then there is this. The Chargers took Vincent Anthony Jr. a full 64 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman.

They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and interior defensive lineman is still a hole.
