A weekend the Rams spent ahead of the board, for worse: F. They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Trebor Pena, 31 picks early at the 205th pick. Little went right, and the F does not pretend otherwise.
The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. The running back spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Hood pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at running back.
The Hill Jr. steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.
Bottom line, it will take a lot of luck to make this look better later.
