A sensible, unshowy class lands the Jets a B-.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Jets did exactly that with DeShon Singleton in pick No. 242. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

The Dunker pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

It is not that Louis is a bad player; it is that the Jets had louder needs to answer first.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
