There is a lot to like until you notice wide receiver is still a hole. The Texans never got to the one that mattered most. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

However the rest shakes out, Slaughter at that price is a win they earned. Every board in the league had Wheatley lower, and that gap is the story.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
