The Patriots won the night they stopped Hunter from sliding. Grade: B.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Patriots were there to profit. Lee Hunter, the No. 49 name on the board, should have been long gone before Round 3, Pick 14. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. They are betting Rolder proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
