Draft Grade — Bills
Overall B
ValueB NeedA- TradesB- FutureB-
The Bills did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B.

There is a lot to like until you notice edge rusher is still a hole. The Bills never got to the one that mattered most. The bottom line is a respectable B.

However the rest shakes out, Reese at that price is a win they earned. Reaching for Brown left real value on the table behind him.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.

Pick Analysis
Pick24 Rnd1 Arvell Reese
In the 24th overall pick they get a green-dot type in the middle, outstanding value to boot. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick56 Rnd2 Dillon Thieneman
A clean, defensible pick in pick No. 56 with a little surplus value in Dillon Thieneman. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick88 Rnd3 Nyck Harbor
Nyck Harbor at the 88th pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick124 Rnd4 Zachariah Branch
Zachariah Branch at slot 124 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the wide receiver. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick163 Rnd5 David Oke
They took David Oke at par in the Round 5 slot, which is nothing to complain about. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick222 Rnd7 Trey Zuhn III
They paid a round early for Trey Zuhn III in pick 222, more than the board wanted. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick229 Rnd7 Barion Brown
A reach on Barion Brown in No. 229; the board had better options right there. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
