The Panthers did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-.

The Panthers torched the value chart for Eric O'Neill, taking him 43 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

That offensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 5 of 9 of the wish list covered. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
