Draft Grade — Chargers
Overall

FutureB-
A solid, sensible weekend for the Chargers: B-. Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Chase Bisontis at No. 90 is 37 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.
That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Ramsey at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.
Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
Pick Analysis
Pick25
Rnd1
Dontay Corleone
In pick 25 they get a load in the middle, even if it was a touch early. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick59
Rnd2
Kamari Ramsey
The board had Kamari Ramsey higher than the 59th pick, and the safety fell to them anyway. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick90
Rnd3
Chase Bisontis
Chase Bisontis in Round 3, Pick 26 is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick125
Rnd4
DJ McKinney
DJ McKinney at slot 125 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick206
Rnd6
Evan Stewart
Evan Stewart in the Round 6 slot is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
