After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Raiders committed. Fernando Mendoza is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Trotter. If Leigh pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

The Haulcy pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at edge rusher, cornerback and other spots. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
