Manning is the plan now, and the Jets grade out a B.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Jets spent their marquee pick on Arch Manning, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. The bottom line is a respectable B.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. Getting Cook where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. Reaching for Stewart left real value on the table behind him.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.

In Round 1, Pick 2 they get the face of the franchise. Exactly the need they had to hit.
