The search is over. The Jets handed the keys to Fernando Mendoza, and the whole operation now runs on his development.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. A whole weekend of picks and cornerback is somehow still a want. The veteran additions, Tristan Wirfs chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.
