They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Zavion Thomas, 82 picks early at pick No. 153. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

The Branch pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. It is not that Allen is a bad player; it is that the Jets had louder needs to answer first.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
