The Jets lost the trade table, and the D- tells the story.

Nobody else had Roman Hemby anywhere near Round 6, Pick 30. The Jets did, by 61 spots, and that gap is the whole story. Too much went sideways, and the D- is the honest tally.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

However the rest shakes out, Baynes at that price is a win they earned.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and cornerback is still a hole.
