The Titans won the night they stopped Muhammad from sliding. Grade: C-.

The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Malik Muhammad, Round 4, Pick 12, roughly 37 picks past where he belonged. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C- in the wash.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. Spending an early pick on cornerback with edge rusher and interior defensive lineman open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want.

Bottom line, the swing picks will decide whether this ages well.

They will replay Malachi Fields at No. 101 for years; that is how good the value is. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.

Hard to square with the roster. With positions of obvious need still on the board, Malik Muhammad adds a cornerback and leaves edge rusher and interior defensive lineman untouched.
