Draft Grade — Eagles
Overall B-
ValueC+ NeedB+ TradesB- FutureB-
The Eagles let Price fall and pounced. Final grade: B-.

This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Jadarian Price, the No. 59 name on the board, stolen at Round 3, Pick 34.

The Moore pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. Job largely done: cornerback settled and 6 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.

Pick Analysis
Pick23 Rnd1 Colton Hood
In the Round 1 slot they get a ballhawk on the outside at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick54 Rnd2 Dani Dennis-Sutton
A wild overpay on Dani Dennis-Sutton in the 54th overall pick, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick68 Rnd3 Derrick Moore
They reached into another round for Derrick Moore, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick98 Rnd3 Jadarian Price
Jadarian Price in the 98th pick should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick122 Rnd4 Bryce Lance
Bryce Lance at Round 4, Pick 22 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick137 Rnd4 Michael Trigg
The board fumbled Michael Trigg all the way to slot 137, and they scooped it up. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick151 Rnd5 Connor Tollison
Connor Tollison in pick 151 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick179 Rnd5 Eric O'Neill
They left a pile of value on the table to take Eric O'Neill this early at pick No. 179. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick201 Rnd6 Trey Zuhn III
A straight-up fair deal on Trey Zuhn III at the Round 6 slot, value and slot in agreement. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
