Draft Grade — Titans
Overall A-
ValueB NeedB- TradesA+ FutureA+
Nobody dealt better than the Titans this weekend: A-.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Titans reached some 36 spots for Oscar Delp, and value like that does not grow back.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The Hill Jr. pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Daiyan Henley pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

Bottom line, with Arvell Reese leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.

Pick Analysis
Pick22 Rnd1 Arvell Reese
In the 22nd pick they get a green-dot type in the middle at a price that makes it sweeter. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick35 Rnd2 Brandon Cisse
They paid sticker price for Brandon Cisse in No. 35, and that is fine. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick57 Rnd2 Anthony Hill Jr.
They barely believed it either: Anthony Hill Jr. still on the board at slot 57. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick66 Rnd3 Omar Cooper Jr.
They jumped the gun on Omar Cooper Jr., taking him earlier than his grade liked. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick86 Rnd3 Zachariah Branch
Zachariah Branch at pick No. 86 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick101 Rnd4 Kaytron Allen
A straight-up fair deal on Kaytron Allen at Round 4, Pick 1, value and slot in agreement. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick129 Rnd4 Jaeden Roberts
A tidy bit of business in the 129th overall pick, where Jaeden Roberts graded well above the range. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick140 Rnd5 Nadame Tucker
Nadame Tucker in the 140th pick is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick142 Rnd5 Oscar Delp
This one needs a full-page explanation: Oscar Delp in slot 142, miles early. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick182 Rnd6 Jermaine Mathews Jr.
Jermaine Mathews Jr. at pick No. 182 is money in the bank, a cornerback taken below his worth. A want more than a need, though you can never have too many.
Pick238 Rnd7 Joey Aguilar
Joey Aguilar slid further than he should have, and Round 7, Pick 22 is lovely value for the quarterback. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick239 Rnd7 Jalen Catalon
Jalen Catalon in No. 239 is fair value, right on his grade. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
