The war room fell hard for Jalen Thompson, and it showed at No. 221: 58 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. The process wobbled, and the D+ is where it lands.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped offensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. They banked enough surplus on Styles to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and offensive lineman is still a hole.
