You can draft well and still miss the point. The Chiefs did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to tight end, which was the need that mattered most.

They went 1 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but tight end.
