Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Eli Bowen got past him. The Texans do not have to explain a thing at Round 4, Pick 6. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. If Seymore pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

Running back is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
