It is a puzzling start. The Chiefs had offensive lineman, quarterback and other spots to solve and reached instead for Jalon Kilgore, a safety, at the 109th pick.

They punted on offensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Jackson Jr. value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. The Prysock pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

They were the ones paying the moving tax this weekend.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
