The Dolphins did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-.

Nobody else had CJ Daniels anywhere near slot 90. The Dolphins did, by 38 spots, and that gap is the whole story. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Neal. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

The back end got a real overhaul.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
