Draft Grade — Eagles

Good, not great, for the Eagles: B. For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Eagles walked out of the weekend still thin at interior defensive lineman, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. The bottom line is a respectable B.
They will need Hurst to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Job largely done: cornerback settled and 5 of 9 of the wish list covered.
A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
Pick Analysis
Pick23
Rnd1
Avieon Terrell
In slot 23 they get an island corner. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick54
Rnd2
Gennings Dunker
They took Gennings Dunker at par in the Round 2 slot, which is nothing to complain about. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick68
Rnd3
Eli Stowers
A reasonable price with a little left over, Eli Stowers in pick No. 68. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick98
Rnd3
Caden Curry
Caden Curry at Round 3, Pick 34 is a conviction pick that outran the value. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick122
Rnd4
Keylan Rutledge
Keylan Rutledge in No. 122 is fair value, right on his grade. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick137
Rnd4
Ted Hurst
Ted Hurst in the 137th pick is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
