You can hear the double-takes from here. The Seahawks took D'Angelo Ponds at Round 1, Pick 32, roughly 73 spots before his name belonged. It washes out to a C, no better and no worse.

That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.
