The Giants fleeced the room on the phones and earned a B+. The Trevor Goosby selection is the head-turner. The Giants reached 39 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.
They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. A whole weekend of picks and tight end is somehow still a want. Sabb at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.
Adding Rob Havenstein by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
