Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Miller Moss got past him. The Dolphins do not have to explain a thing at pick 227.

They will need Freeling to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The Cole Bishop pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
