Boards are made to be trusted, and the Seahawks shredded theirs for Jack Velling. He came off 68 spots early, and the room will hear about it. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

That is an interior defensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made. Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
