FutureB-
No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Seahawks. The war room fell hard for Chase Bisontis, and it showed at the 72nd pick: 42 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.
The linebacker hole is the one line item this class does not answer. However the rest shakes out, Delp at that price is a win they earned.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick Analysis
Pick32
Rnd1
Brandon Cisse
In pick No. 32 they get a lockdown presence outside, though they paid up to get him.
Pick72
Rnd3
Chase Bisontis
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Chase Bisontis well ahead of where he belonged. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick96
Rnd3
Caden Curry
Caden Curry in pick 96 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick110
Rnd4
Mike Washington Jr.
Mike Washington Jr. in the 110th pick is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick187
Rnd6
Oscar Delp
They read the board right and Oscar Delp was the payoff at No. 187. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick211
Rnd6
Hykeem Williams
They went early on Hykeem Williams in Round 6, Pick 32, and the value did not follow. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
