Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Caleb Tiernan got past him. The Titans do not have to explain a thing at the Round 4 slot. It lands right in the middle: a C+, no more, no less.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. The Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

It nets out as a middle-of-the-pack haul that neither helps nor hurts much.
