Reheheheheh DRAFTING FOR THESeahawks
Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall
C-
ValueF
NeedB
TradesB-
FutureB-
A mixed bag for the Seahawks, and a C- to match. The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Seahawks reached some 116 spots for Kaleb Elarms-Orr, and value like that does not grow back. It washes out to a C-, no better and no worse.
Landing Endries that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They will regret leaving wide receiver for another day if the season turns on it.
Call it incomplete, and check back in a couple of seasons.
Pick Analysis
Pick32
Rnd1
Joe Royer
In pick 32 they get a mismatch in the passing game, though the board says they badly overpaid. A real need, handled.
Pick64
Rnd2
Kaleb Elarms-Orr
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Kaleb Elarms-Orr well ahead of where he belonged. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick96
Rnd3
Nyjalik Kelly
A big swing on Nyjalik Kelly at slot 96, well ahead of any board in the building. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick211
Rnd6
Jack Endries
Jack Endries in the Round 6 slot should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
