The Falcons got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the C.

The Falcons went off the board in a big way for Aamil Wagner, 56 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. Fine in stretches, shaky in others: a C.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

They banked enough surplus on Haulcy to cover a lot of smaller sins.

In the end, one you will need a couple of seasons to truly judge.

Pick Analysis
Pick43 Rnd2 A'Mauri Washington
A real head-scratcher, A'Mauri Washington in pick No. 43 is miles ahead of his ranking. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick77 Rnd3 A.J. Haulcy
A slide stopped in the Round 3 slot, with A.J. Haulcy worth more than the price. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick94 Rnd3 Omar Cooper Jr.
A clean, defensible pick in slot 94 with a little surplus value in Omar Cooper Jr.. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick112 Rnd4 Skyler Gill-Howard
Skyler Gill-Howard in Round 4, Pick 12 is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick130 Rnd4 Aamil Wagner
They left a pile of value on the table to take Aamil Wagner this early at the 130th overall pick. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick194 Rnd6 Josh Moten
Josh Moten at pick 194 jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick205 Rnd6 Raylen Wilson
They talked themselves into Raylen Wilson at slot 205, and the board did not agree. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
